Fed up with taking hours to set you stand up at the beginning of the day and then do a day’s work only to have to spend a similar amount of time packing the your stand down without damaging your valuable equipment?
Fed up with getting all the “right” shots only to see your potential customers walk away simply because you can’t serve them quickly enough because they all insist on waiting until the end of the day before making a decision about what are their best choice of photos to purchase and thus cause a nightmare end of day rush?
This high output trailer provides an answer to both of the above problems affecting most outdoor event photographers! Simply open the hydraulically operated side awning, lower the aluminium stage, plug your generator in and you’re set to go leaving some much needing time for that extra cup of coffee before the busy days work ahead!
It is equipped with 2 selling / printing stations at the left hand end of the trailer as you face it. This is where your main photo server would be situated along with space for three dye-sub printers. A shock proof housing is provided for the server to ensure no vibration damaged occurs whilst in transit. Likewise for your delicate dye-sub printers. We have some of these (not included in this transaction) that are available for purchase as a additional items.
There are 8 additional viewing stations spaced comfortably throughout the rest of the trailer. These viewing stations are where your customers first view their photos and make a list of the prints they want at their leisure – all under cover from the elements – no fighting over proofing sheets or crowding around one computer. All viewing stations show the same duplicate catalogue of photos using our bespoke software which integrates seamlessly with Express Digital’s Digital Darkroom and most other photo cataloguing systems. We have covered 4 day events with over 50,000 photos taken and displayed. This viewing system is highly scaleable, fast and incredibly simply to use from both the customers point of view and the trailer operator. The viewing PC’s are all Compaq Small Form Factor workstations mounted on vibration-proofing rubber and foam mounts to protect them against vibration in transit. The monitors are all high-brightness again mounted on vibration-proofing rubber mounts to protect them in transit. They are connected via hardwired 100Mb network to a high speed 10/100/1000 Network Switch (included).
This trailer has real presence with the extensive platform outside and bar the external paintwork condition (more about that in a bit) is the most impressive looking event photography trailer in the UK.
We bought this trailer second hand (it was previously a Baileys drink tasting trailer fitted with a bar etc) and had it fitted out ourselves. It is believed to be a Lynton trailer built circa 1999. We had a brand new set of axles fitted to it at this time last year. It is a braked trailer plated to a max plated weight of 3,500 Kg. It is a highly stable turntable steering system – the front axle follows the towing vehicle so it is very easy to steer and because it has wheels at each corner it is significantly more stable than trailers with axles situated half way down the length of the trailer. This means it is a whole lot less prone to rocking itself about and therefore rocking the towing vehicle – this makes for a far more relaxing drive.
This trailer is clearly priced to sell. Reason for sale ... we used to send more than one team out to cover events and managing this team as well as covering events ourselves is too much work so we are looking to downsize and just cover events ourselves – thus the sale of our precious trailer.
The only downside to this trailer is that it is definitely in need of a respray. Where we have removed our banners from the side in preparation for selling a fair amount of the paintwork has come off which looks unsightly. Unless you cover it with banners in exactly the same places we had ours it is going to look pretty untidy and unloved. The requirement for a respray is reflected in the price. There seemed little point in respraying it ourselves for sale only for the new owner to possibly want to respray it with their own colour scheme.

The trailer itself of course with fixtures and fittings (platform, disabled ramp and steps etc) as seen in the photos.
All viewing stations and their monitors, mouse, keyboards, connective cabling etc.
The selling station monitors, keyboards and the second selling station PC – the main selling station monitor and keyboard connects to the main photo server.
What’s not included (these may all be purchased separately as extras except for the generator)…
The generator – not available for purchase as we still use the one we used with this trailer.
The dye-sub printers – are available for purchase as a separate item(s).
The high performance custom built photo server with our proven bespoke software is also available for purchase as a separate item.

This trailer is to be sold as seen / inspected. Any AA / RAC inspections welcome.
We expect the buyer to collect although it may be possible to arrange delivery strictly after payment has been cleared.
Also available as a seperate item is a Mercedes Sprinter 411 CDi – 4.6 ton box van which we believe is the smallest and most economical vehicle that it is legal to tow this trailer with if you don’t want to be burdened with driving a 7.5 ton lorry. This van has is suitable for towing, and is equiped with Cat1 alarm, Tacho (although not needed under Showmans Guild exemptions) Tail lift and side door.
